Exultate Justi
in Domino.

Sing your part of Viadana’s motet with the MCDA muted track, the other three parts singing with you. You get two scores out of 5: Accuracy (the right notes, in time) and Intonation (how in tune you are with the other parts), then the measures to work on.

Your part

How you’ll hear the track

The track gives the chord and a spoken count-in, then you sing. Nothing is uploaded: your take stays in this browser.

How it’s scored

Accuracy (5 points): the right notes at the right time. 5 from 90%, 4 from 82%, 3 from 72%, 2 from 60%, 1 from 45% of the notes.

Intonation (5 points): how in tune your right notes are with the other three parts, held notes counting most. In tune means within a quarter of a half step. 5 from 78%, 4 from 65%, 3 from 52%, 2 from 40%, 1 from 28% of held notes; a whole take leaning flat or sharp loses a point.

The singers on the MCDA track, scored the same way on their own parts, earn 5 and 5. It’s practice feedback, not the official audition score.

Your music

Soprano, the whole piece. While you sing, the score follows the track and highlights the note to sing.
